how is my internship going?

for the time being i would say, it is not so bad. & honestly i don't mind waking up early to go to 'work', i have to take it as an experience while i still have the chance to. i'm not dreading it just yet. probably cause the work load is not that 'stressful' yet. currently doing a project which the deadline is tomo, but both my bosses are not rushing me (yeah i have 2 beautiful & nice bosses), which worries me, cause i keep thinking am i going too slow? i will ask them directly tomo to tell me if i am.

the project requires me to start from scratch. i have to say, a bit brain dead for a while, but i got hold of it. client: National Environment Agency. i'm to do this quater page, spot colour print advert for their recycling day event. probably this is a pitching project. could say i am abit confused about the project still, but they say i'm on the right track, so i guess i am. no rejection just yet. & the best part my art director serene says that i can report to work at 1015 or latest 1030. cause everyone is always late, no one is punctual, can you believe it! & it has been 2 days straight i came way too early!

2 days down. for now my everyday agenda is to survive.

soon, it will be august. so as the time gets nearer for this year NDP, it's the best time to get some lovely night photography of the skies on fire. the city scapes are always awesome at night. awaiting for the display of overseas fireworks after the NDP *more on facebook. monday aku sip.

the end is only the beginning.

i waited to watch it on Channel U & i can't help but get an uneasy feeling. maybe it is that stupid chain email that i get months back saying that the sign of an eclipse on 22 July is a sign that a tsunami is uprising & this time round singapore will not be excluded. i even had nightmares about it! ya i know it's probably some stupid forward chain email. we can only predict. but i can't help to think that one day it wont be an eclipse.

this is the longest solar eclipse of the 21st century. it cast a shadow over much of Asia on Wednesday, plunging hundreds of millions into darkness across the giant land masses of India and China. magnificient isn't it the cause of nature? & there was another prediction, which is a bit hilarious cause they end up making a movie out of it. ya the end of the world in 2012. i don't know how those 'scientist', get that kind of prediction. probably an ancient myth. but i don't really believe in myth & legends, what's not. but im not going to miss watching the movie. i hope in the movie no one survive, cause that will be an unbelievable ending, no one can survive the end of the world. if not it won't be call the end of the world or end of civilisation. somehow such movies 'trigger' my senses. we all need a wake up call.

bad hairday.

whenever i have a bad hairday, all i want is to snip my hair. get rid of it or snip it short. but... i have to chill, cause i want to have long hair again. long & thick hair like i once did back in 07', before i keep snipping layered. that actually thin my hair down, which i hate. stupid decision that was. i should just have kept my hair as it was. probably now i would have a better hair. oh well. for now i have to live with it being boring & sometimes unkept. cause i just want it to be a little more longer then i will do something with it. either i snip my fringe & change it to a diff fringe style or i perm my hair. so i won't have straight boring hair anymore. we shall see. for now it shall be as it is. & short hair is a bit too limited for styling, so for now i shall not dream of having short hair.

those were the days...

4T1 langkawi trip in 2002 (if i'm not wrong) the year that we were graduating. this is very old school. thankx to facebook, got reconnected with my ex secondary classmates & coral sec pioneers. looking back at all the old sec sch photos, all i can say "kental nye kita semua!".

if love was like a romantic comedy.

on this romantic date, they talk like there was no tomorrow. they laugh like no one esle care. they act silly like no one is watching. he don't care, she don't care either if there were people watching. they tell jokes that others don't find it funny, but it was their joke & it was funny to them. on this romantic date, he didn't give her chocolates, he didnt give her roses, he didnt give her a hug, he didnt give her a kiss, he didnt give her any surprises. she didnt want any of those either. that was not their definition of being romantic because this was not those typical romantic date. they walk hand in hand, they explore places, they try new things, they went on a romantic dinner, but it wasn't at any romantic restaurant. when night came & they know the day will end, they went to a place up high, where they can see the beautiful city lights. then she woke up & realised, it was nothing but a dream.

thank god for weekends.

monday again. my weekend was pretty much full schedule as usual. sat was working full shift & sun was out with mr boyfriend for ice age 3 movie date & later on a triple date with the usual members. we went to mind cafe to play the boardgames. i feel that boardgames have a better interaction level then those arcade etc. its really a fun place to just chill & have a few laughs with your friends. & not to mention those stupid forfeit. next time i'm going to video out our outing instead of just taking photos. cause we really sometimes end up doing silly things. next outing was thinking of planning pulau ubin trip. have to discuss with the guys. but for now back to sch assignments & stuff. ciao!

i shall post another photo of my favourite cullen cause im anxiously awaiting november till i can see them in action again. aside from robert pattinson, i adore kellan lutz a.k.a emmett cullen. when guys wear beanie, they look somewhat hot. from now on i am anna cullen lol. * i miss seeing you wearing your beanie.

we are going to watch transformers 2 again. crazy isn't it. but as the review is some crowd already find that it's not worth watching a second time. i don't know about me, i don't mind watching it again for the action. what with megan fox being so hot. mr boyfriend is already a fan of megan fox on facebook. lol. well that's alright tho' cause i still have my robert pattinson a.k.a edward. i am so waiting for november! oh i love UK guys & he is born the same year as me. that makes us the same age. nice.

MJ memorial.

after days finally they are cremating MJ. im watching MJ memorial & was thinking that the casket have to be empty, i just don't believe that MJ body is really in the casket. but to think of it, why do they want to open the casket to show MJ body lying in it, even after his death there are all kind of gossips & even at his memorial we see the flash of cameras, which means if they were to open the casket, people will take photos & that will be a disgrace & disrespectful to the dead. so probably the casket is not empty, but even if it is, his family probably wanted a private burial. but why can't the world just stop the mean gossip about MJ. he's dead. the end. we should remember him as he was, a legend. may MJ rest in peace.

languages & culture

mi chiamo anna, parlo italiano. piacere.

yes indeed, i'm currently learning italian, part of CDS module. & it is very interesting to learn the language, apart of just knowing how to speak english, malay & singlish. how boring can that be if that is the only language we typical singaporean know how to communicate with. i was looking forward to get pyschology or french tho' for my CDS. italian was my 2nd choice, plus as lame as it is design sch CDS have no french. so italian will do aside from japanese. & don't ask me why i'm so interested in learning pyschology. it is always good to improve your knowledge isn't it. well off to italian class now. ciao.
